James Sickling has 26 years of experience trading treasury, agency, mortgage-backed, asset-backed and corporate debt securities and has managed institutional trading desks at two firms.

James has been the Manager of the Raymond James Institutional Taxable Fixed Income Trading desk since 1993. In that capacity he is responsible for managing 22 institutional traders and 3 desk analysts covering all sectors of fixed income including treasuries, agencies, high-grade corporate bonds, high-yield corporate bond, MBS and ABS. During his tenure at Raymond James he has traded government bonds, MBS, and ABS.

From 1989 to 1993 James was the Manager of Institutional Government, Agency and Corporate Trading for Kemper Securities in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to his management responsibilities James traded government securities. From 1985-1989 he was a government securities trader for Prescott Ball & Turben in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mr. Sickling holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Management from Clemson University.
