Gavin Murrey
Since joining Raymond James in 1998, Gavin has served as senior manager for various municipalities, airports, utilities, institutions of higher education and project financings. He has served as senior banker for 46 privatized student housing transactions with a total par amount of approximately $2.1 billion, including projects at the University of Louisville (three phases), California State University-San Marcos, the University of Alabama Birmingham and nine universities within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). These PASSHE universities include California (three phases), Lock Haven (two phases), Clarion (two phases), Bloomsburg, East Stroudsburg (two phases), Slippery Rock (two phases), West Chester, Mansfield (two phases) and Indiana (four phases). Prior to joining the firm, Gavin served as senior manager and director of the verification department of the Ernst & Young LLP Public and Structured Finance Services Group. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi.
