John Berg

John Berg joined Raymond James in 2021 after serving as the CEO of Financo for nearly a decade. He has spent over 25 years building a career focused on advising and investing in consumer businesses globally. Mr. Berg’s experience, knowledge and love of the consumer industry make him a valued partner to companies of all sizes as they explore their strategic options. While he oversees the day to day activities of the Consumer & Retail team, his real passion is partnering with clients to help maximize their goals.

Mr. Berg was a general partner of Weston Presidio, a multibillion-dollar private equity firm, before joining Financo. Prior to his tenure in private equity, he was also a senior managing director and head of the Retail and Consumer group for Bank of America. Mr. Berg received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts with magna cum laude honors from Williams College.
