Celebrating Black History Month at Raymond James

Raymond James’ Mosaic Network hosted a series of events in celebration of Black History Month

Raymond James is proud to be a leader among diversity and inclusion efforts for associates. We are committed to ensuring that our associates have a safe and inclusive work environment, where they feel comfortable to bring their whole selves to work. That’s why we’ve created inclusion networks, including the Mosaic Network, which brings together associates from all backgrounds to provide support, resources and opportunities for professional growth and development.

In an effort to honor and highlight black Americans for Black History Month, Mosaic hosted a series of events at Raymond James. They kicked off the month with a communication campaign that highlighted black history, art and literature. Mosaic also hosted a luncheon on February 21, called “RJ Thoughts: What’s our Greatest Asset?” This moderated panel discussion between four of the firm’s leaders explored how black history impacts lives today and every day and how to embrace diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Additionally, on February 23, Mosaic met in St. Petersburg, Florida, at the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum for a networking event.

Fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce is a priority for Raymond James, and our five Inclusion Networks support this. Learn more about Raymond James’ commitment to Diversity and Inclusion.
