Brad Butcher
Brad Butcher joined Raymond James in 1995 and has spent the majority of his career in the Real Estate Investment Banking group working with a broad range of public and private real estate companies including REITs, lodging companies and homebuilders. He has managed more than 400 equity transactions, raising over $80 billion including more than 35 initial public offerings raising over $20 billion. In addition, he has represented clients on both the sell-side and the buy-side in numerous M&A transactions and private capital raises worth in excess of $6 billion. In 2000 and 2001, Mr. Butcher spent two years at Raymond James Capital (RJC), the firm’s in-house merchant banking group. At RJC, he was involved in making principal investments in middle-market companies and actively working with portfolio company executive management teams on financial and corporate strategy. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Butcher was a lawyer at Morris, Manning and Martin in Atlanta. He earned an MBA with high honors from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business, a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in finance from the University of Florida.
