Prior to her role as assistant division director for the West Division, Amara joined the Financial Institutions Division as a branch supervisory principal responsible for supervising branches within the division's home office supervision program. She joined Raymond James in early 2013 as a business development associate, supporting prospective independent advisors throughout their due diligence process for ICD regional management's Mid-Atlantic team. Amara gained extensive experience in the capacities of marketing, recruiting, training and transitioning advisors as well as a first-hand knowledge of regulatory concerns from her roles as practice management associate and compliance officer with Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc. Amara earned her degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from Eckerd College, and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 6, 63 and life, health and variable annuity licenses. She currently resides in St. Petersburg with her husband, Mike.
