Raymond James welcomes advisor team collectively managing over $995 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Adam Ours, John Koch and Padma Jambunath to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm's employee advisor channel ­– in Cleveland, Ohio, according to Amy Smart, Mid-American regional director for RJA.

Joining the team are senior client relationship manager Jeffrey Danzinger, senior registered client relationship associate Sasha Delic-Milanovic and senior client service associate Betsy Margolin. They arrive from Merrill Lynch, where they managed approximately $995 million in client assets and will operate as part of RJA’s Cleveland Beachwood branch. Together they serve business owners, corporate executives, families and individuals, pre-retirees, retirees and family offices. Recognized by Forbes as a 2024 Best in State Wealth Management Team, DKO Private Wealth Management of Raymond James holds over 150 years of collective industry experience.

Ours brings over 20 years of financial services industry experience to his role as managing director, wealth management. He began his career with Northwestern Mutual Investments and most recently served at Merrill Lynch for 18 years. He received his undergraduate degree in business from Miami University, and an MBA from Cleveland State University. His professional experience is backed by the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, Certified Private Wealth Advisor® and Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor® designations.

Koch began working in the financial services industry in 1993 at Lehman Brothers in San Francisco and most recently served at Merrill Lynch for over 15 years as a senior vice president, advisor, office director and sales manager for the Cleveland complex. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and has significant experience advising clients on asset allocation, alternative investments, hedging single stock exposure, tax minimization strategies and risk management of concentrated equity positions.

Jambunath brings extensive global financial services experience, most recently at Merrill Lynch. Born and raised in India, she has worked across Asia and Europe, eventually moving to the United States in 2009. She is a recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award and her 11 years of U.S.-based financial services industry experience are backed by a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from India and a General Management Program certificate from Harvard Business School.

The 2024 Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Management Teams, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data.
